Returns

Before returning any equipment please read this section carefully. For complete description of all policies please click here. Items returned to us without prior approval will be refused.

  1. If any items are damaged or missing from your order these must be reported to us within seven (7) days.

  2. Any defects discovered within the first thirty (30) days will be handled directly by SMI. You must call your sales representative immediately for assistance in these requests.

  3. After thirty days, all repairs will be handled by the respective equipment manufacturers in accordance with their warranty policies. It is the customer's responsibility to be sure all warranty registration has been properly done for each piece of equipment. The customer must contact the manufacturer in all cases.

  4. Warranty repair for the following items is handled directly through SMI: cases, trays, remotes, enclosures and cables.

  5. Before returning any equipment to SMI, please submit the RMA form below.

  6. Please note that warranties do not cover damage due to misuse or improper operation.
